V-429E is a mechanical, nose, point-detonating fuze with selectable super-quick or delayed action.
The fuze is designed for ammunition for smoothbore tank guns. It completes High-Explosive, Incendiary and Smoke rounds for the following guns:
100 mm anti-tank guns T-12, MT-12 and M-87 115 mm tank gun U-5T mounted on T-62 MBT 125 mm tank gun 2A46 and its modifications mounted on T-64, T-72, T-80, and T-90 MBTs V-429E fuze features locking at firing from worn-out or strongly contaminated barrel.
The fuze is safe in storage, handling and operation and ensures the reliable and safe function of the ammunition in all weather conditions.
