MG-M1S Machine Gun7.62x54R on Support

The 7.62×54 mm Machine Gun on Support (tripod) MG-M1S is a powerful individual automatic weapon designed for use against enemy troops, firing points and light air targets by means of automatic fire.

By automatic fire from short bursts can be destroyed group and single targets at a distance of 1500 m. Fire of the Machine Gun with the tripod is most effective at a breast silhouette within 400 m and at a fast moving target within 650 m.

Lethal effect of bullet, when shooting a machine gun is preserved within 3800 m.

MG-M1 belongs to the automatic weapons operating by the principle of taking off an amount of powder gases through a special opening in the wall of an immovable barrel and their effect imposed on the breech block carrier piston.

Feeding cartridges is done by a metallic cartridge belt, put in a box of capacity 200 cartridges.

The tripod allows conducting fire with the Machine Gun at horizontal or vertical targets, as well as thus efficiency of fire is increased. Extras-Paid separately: blank firing attachment – set; carrying plate for sighting devices
