The 40 mm Round RLV-S&F is intended to be used at the time of counter terrorist operations, as well as for catching of criminals and hostage release. The Grenade stuns and immobilizes the persons in the near vicinity by means of loud, temporarily paralyzing noise and blinding flash.
The round is designed for use with the following Grenade Launchers: GP-25 and GP-30 types, and 40 mm UBGL family.
The rounds can be stored in non-heated storerooms for 10 years, but only if they are kept in the standard packing of the manufacturer.
